Gezeigt werden wichtige Fotografinnen wie Imogen Cunningham, Jill Freedman, Nan Goldin, Germaine Krull, Sally Mann, Luzia Simons und Annelies Štrba sowie eine Videoarbeit von Gabriella Gerosa.
Einen speziellen Fokus setzen wir mit einer Hommage auf den im vergangenen Jahr verstorbenen Fotografen und Freund Roger Humbert.
Die photo basel findet während der Art Basel Woche im Volkshaus Basel statt, sie ist die erste und einzige Fotokunstmesse der Schweiz und widmet sich ausschliesslich der Fotografie. Die photo basel versteht sich als integrative und hybride Plattform, welche jegliche Akteur:innen der Kunstwelt (online und IRL) miteinander verbindet. Wir freuen uns, an der 8. Edition der photo basel teilzunehmen.
