Since 2003 Michel Huelin has been working with computer modelling software and investigating the connection between the living and virtuality. He produces photographic print runs in large formats that show a kind of polymorphic and exuberant vegetation. He is a bit like a biologist building a biotope in his laboratory. His paintings are characterized by an astonishing realism, but in fact consist of virtual manipulations. They let us travel around in several worlds and make us question the painting and the truth of the phenomena.
Michel Huelin has exhibited his artistic work in numerous individual and group exhibitions in various countries such as the USA, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Italy and France. He has received several scholarships and prizes, such as the Prix Artiste Confirmé of the City of Geneva in 2004.
