The exhibition “Model-Natures in Contemporary Photography” brings together artists who deal with the theme of artificially constructed nature in their self-made models for the first time. They work in the medial threshold area between sculpture, model making and photography, whereby photography acquires significance as the final form of presentation, since the models built are often destroyed. They show miniatures of fantasy places, sea, snow and mountain landscapes as well as urban areas, cosmic formations, catastrophes and forces of nature. With works by Sonja Brass, James Casebere, Julian Charrière, Jojakim Cortis & Adrian Sonderegger, Frank Kunert, David LaChapelle, David Levinthal, Maija Savolainen, Shirley Wegner and others.
