Peter Hutchinson is a British Conceptual artist whose eclectic oeuvre melds Land Art, diaristic text, science fiction, and photo-collage. Inspired by romantic notions of nature and travel, Hutchinson culls from images of interventions he has performed on the landscape, photos from his garden, and found snapshots, to produce new images of fictional spaces.
Hutchinson’s works are represented in international collections such as Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, France; Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam, Netherlands; Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Basel, Switzerland; National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C., USA; Museum of Modern Art, New York, USA.
